For Long Hair. Start by lightly curling hair with a two-inch barrel, then use a texturizing spray to achieve a lived-in look. Create a deep side part and braid hair into a fishtail then secure with an elastic. Pull shorter layers out of the braid to give it a messier final look.

For Medium-Long Hair Tie hair into a sleek half-up ponytail, then secure the bottom half into another ponytail at the nape of the neck. Starting with the top section, braid hair to the base of the bottom ponytail, then join to finish the braid.

medium hair

For Medium Hair Separate a two-by-four-inch section on the back of the head and create a tight french braid and secure with an elastic at the base. Make a center part at the front of hair and loosely French braid the remaining hair and secure with another elastic.

For Short Hair Create a grip on short hair by spritzing a texturizing spray from roots to tips. Create a deep side part and French braid from front to back. Repeat on the other side of the part. If plaits come undone, use bobby pins to hold them in place. Finish with a strong hold hairspray.
