No-one likes to talk about it! We feel uncomfortable with it, we feel guilty spending it, we feel bad for not saving it, we feel shame when we have it. When we earn high salaries, we feel like we don’t deserve them. When we earn low salaries we’re scared to ask for more.
We all have different behaviour and belief systems when it comes to money. Much of this has been handed down to us from our parents, and the financial circumstances of the environment we grew up in.
Being a single mama, planning household finances and where every £ goes is essential. As a single income family, it is very important for me to identify how I was going to sort out my finances. Firstly I needed to determine what I’m aiming for. Some people have very immediate and specific financial goals, for me, that’s not always the case.
I’m always trying out cool new ways to style my basics, and what better way to spruce up my winter wardrobe.
More recently I’ve been wearing a lot of camel and grey staples.
Not sure if it’s trendy gaining in my world.
