MIX IT UP
I love eggs and can eat it many different ways, but sometime I switch it up with oatmeal, I juice, or make a smoothie. My favourite breakfast is scrambled eggs with a cheddar cheese on Vogel soya and linseed bread.
CHOOSE FRESH & NATURAL
I do drink, but only socially. I think alcohol is empty calories and needless sugar. A healthy drink is tequila + soda + lime. You can put fresh raspberries, fresh lime, or cucumber to make it light and refreshing. If you want a bit of sweet, keep it natural with agave. You can drink this all year, but it’s especially satisfying in the summer months and most importantly, low in calories!
FULLY RAW WHEN POSSIBLE
I love vegetables! I make all kinds of salads you can think of. I’ll cut up whatever veggie I can eat raw and mix it all together a bit of mixed herbs seasoning, lemon juice and that’s eat. There’s nothing healthier than that, because it’s just raw vegetables.
DON’T BE RESTRICTIVE
Restriction backfires. Making something off-limits, makes you obsess over it more. Then you binge, and feel guilty failure! Don’t ever say, “no desserts,” or “no carbs.” Try not cut out food groups. Tell yourself you can have anything, and you’re less inclined to want everything. Just focus on balance, fresh and natural ingredients, and getting those raw veggies and variety so that you stay healthy and happy!
