I often find the best way to ease the discomfort brought on by my heightened emotions is to retreat into solitude, and spend some alone time 😊
When I spend time alone, I tend to find very little arouse anxious, sad or angry feelings. Instead I am able to feel my own thoughts and recollections.
Sometimes I let my mood run its course and take stalk of what was the cause of my emotional distress.
Time spent in solitude can bring clarity of mind that allows one to analyze their reactions in a more fair way.
Time spent alone always help you temper the strength of the emotions you’re feeling and aide understanding of their root cause.
